ARTSFEST 2021

The hermit is essentially a secluded writer of prophecies, a goddess of fate making revisions to a person’s future, for a price. The piece is inspired by both my love of writing and often cluttered workspace, especially with how I still have old drafts and their newer versions still lying around gathering dust. A bookshelf in my room is also not too far off from the painting, only that instead of dusty scrolls it’s filled with a variety of old childhood books. As for the hermit, the design is based on my admittedly introverted nature.
